Dozens of high school students from Minnesota Youth Symphonies are in Cuba this week to perform for Cuban audiences and with Cuban players. 

Tom Weber talked with Manny Laureano, the conductor of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies and principal trumpet for the Minnesota Orchestra, and 18-year-old Christopher Schulte, one of the students on the trip.

Dozens of high school students from across Minnesota are in Cuba this week, to perform for Cuban audiences and with Cuban players. The students are with the Minnesota Youth Symphonies.

Tom Weber talked with Manny Laureano, the conductor of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies. He's also principal trumpet for the Minnesota Orchestra. During the conversation, Tom was also joined by 18-year old Christopher Schulte, one of the students on the trip.
