The 12th "National Book Awards at Concordia" event was held March 23, 2017 at Concordia College in Moorhead. 

"The Association of Small Bombs" was a 2016 fiction finalist.
"The Other Slavery: The Uncovered Story of Indian Enslavement in America" was a 2016 nonfiction finalist.
