The new president of the NAACP Derrick Johnson speaks and answers questions at the National Press Club in Washington about race in America. He announced his talk will be titled, "Beyond Charlottesville: The Policies Undergirding Trump's White Supremacist Agenda."

After Hurricane Katrina, the Mississippi native also founded an organization he called, "One Voice."

Hilary Shelton, director of the NAACP's Washington Bureau, also answered a few questions.
