That's just the start of media coverage on the research that lacks crucial context, says Dr. Jon Hallberg, MPR News regular medical analyst.

Of course, a sedentary lifestyle is a contributor to poor health.

But Hallberg pointed out that "people don't die from sitting — you die from something else."
