David Cassidy died Tuesday at the age of 67.
His role as Keith Partridge in "The Partridge Family: launched his career and made him a teen heartthrob.
In the early 1970s you could buy Cassidy lunch boxes, bubble gum, coloring books and pens.
He was also inspired the sale of millions of teen magazines, wall stickers, love beads, posters and photo albums.
