Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam turn 51 years old Monday.
In 1987, they came out with their Billboard-topping hit "Lost in Emotion."
The song was written by Full Force's Lou George who described it as a mashup of Mary Wells' "Two Lovers" and "You beat Me to the Punch."
