Minneapolis police investigate fatal shooting

Minneapolis police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city's north side.

The police department's shot spotter system alerted offices to gunfire about 5 a.m. Thursday. A male victim was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center where he died. Police spokesperson Scott Seroka says no one is in custody.
