Woman charged in Minneapolis alley crash that killed 2

A Blaine woman is facing criminal charges in a crash that killed two people in a north Minneapolis alley.

Forty-seven-year-old Michele Reimann is charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation. A criminal complaint says Reimann and two other women went to a convenience store Friday night after drinking alcohol and using crack cocaine. The complaint says Reimann got behind the wheel of the van while the driver was in the store and took off at a high rate of speed.

The van crashed into a parked car before it rolled and pinned the third woman, a passenger, underneath, killing her. A man who had just gotten out of the parked car was also killed.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press says Reimann denies she was driving the van.
