English and Ghanaian culture collide in Michael Donkor's new novel, "Housegirl."
The story follows Belinda, a maid from a wealthy household in Ghana who is shipped to London to be a good influence on the spoiled daughter of the household.
Donkor and host Kerri Miller talked about immigration, assimilation and the tension that arises when an author writes about negative aspects of their own culture.
