Political Junkie: Kavanaugh vote likely on Thursday

If Ken Rudin was a betting man, he'd place a bet that Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings would go as scheduled on Thursday, despite sexual assault allegations against him.

"There are so many different things that could happen," the Political Junkie host said. "But ultimately I wonder if anything will."

His reasoning? Chair of the Judiciary Committee Charles Grassley has said he'd like to interview the accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, as well as Kavanaugh, but he's made no indication that he'll delay the vote.

"The question, of course, is if anything stops Kavanaugh, and even opponents wonder if that's still possible," said Rudin.
