Polling shows Democrats have edge with independents
MPR News teamed up with the Star Tribune and conducted a poll of Minnesota voters and upcoming elections. The poll found that voters who consider themselves independents were likely to vote for Democratic candidates.
"The advantages the DFL candidates [have to win these elections] come from the Independents," said Kathyrn Pearson, professor at the University of Minnesota.
She joined MPR News host on Wednesday to analyze the poll.
