Grand Forks police investigate death of woman
Grand Forks police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found near the Red River.
Authorities say someone attending a cross-country track meet discovered the woman's body in some trees east of a boat landing shortly before noon Saturday.
KFGO reports police say foul play is not suspected. The woman's body was taken to the University of North Dakota Pathology Center. She has not been identified.
