American astronauts first landed on the moon in 1969.
Now Minnesota author Drew Brockington is sending cats to space in his kids' lit series "Catstronauts."
The author and illustrator joined MPR New host Kerri Miller to share how his love of space fueled this series, and what humans can learn from an intrepid crew of Catstronauts named Waffles, PomPom, Blanket and Major Meowser.
