The woman died at the scene.

"A man believed to be the victim's husband was on scene when officers arrived. Officers were able to quickly determine he was the suspect. He was detained and transported to police headquarters to be interviewed by investigators," police reported.

The 66-year-old man was later booked at the Ramsey County Jail.
