Two suspects are in custody in connection to a fatal drive-by shooting on Friday night.
In a news release, the Austin Police Department reported one man was killed and at least two others were seriously injured when they were shot inside a vehicle on 2nd Street in Austin.
Police said two suspects in a white 2015 Dodge Durango drove up and shot the people inside the other vehicle. Officials said that the vehicle has also been recovered.
The driver was struck and the vehicle rolled until it crashed into an unoccupied home at 701 4th Street North around 10:40 p.m. Friday. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two of the surviving victims remain hospitalized in serious, yet stable condition as of Saturday. Two other people in what police call the victim vehicle left the scene.
Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted incident.
