Today in Fargo-Moorhead: Saturday basks in the 50s, the state of illnesses in Minnesota

(A bit of) snow in February — that’s more like it!

Friday came with a spot of light snow but it’ll be clear tonight. We’ve got a warmer, sunnier weekend ahead with highs in the low 50s Saturday and low 40s Sunday.

Moorhead and most of the rest of the state’s fire risk in March and April is above normal. Lack of snow cover is a major contributor.

Amidst a rise in global measles cases, Minnesota reports its third case this year, while ranking ninth lowest in measles vaccinations. Meanwhile, respiratory illness hospitalizations, including COVID-19, flu and RSV, have decreased statewide.
