Amber Alert canceled after Columbia Heights infant found safe

Police in the Minneapolis suburb of Columbia Heights canceled an Amber Alert Wednesday afternoon after an infant who was reported abducted was found safe.
The alert, initially sent out around 4:10 p.m., sought the newborn and a woman with the same last name who had last been seen together Wednesday morning.
Columbia Heights Police Department posted on Facebook around 5 p.m. that the alert was canceled and both were found safe in Minneapolis.
