One person was found dead in a burning duplex in Minneapolis on Wednesday night.
The Minneapolis Fire Department said the fire was reported just after 11:15 p.m. on 22nd Avenue Northeast, just west of Central Avenue.
The first fire crews on the scene reported flames showing from both floors of the building.
Firefighters searching the home found a man dead on the first floor. His name has not been released. It’s the third fire fatality of the year in Minneapolis.
No one else was injured in Wednesday’s fire. Three other people were displaced.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
