Pop Mart opened at the Mall of America on Monday, becoming the first brick-and-mortar retail location of the popular designer toy company in Minnesota.
China-based Pop Mart is behind the Labubu collectibles that gained popularity last year and created a global frenzy. Celebrities like Lisa from K-pop group BLACKPINK and Rihanna have adorned their bags with the tiny monster dolls, marking their rise as a luxury-adjacent yet accessible fashion trend.
The Mall of America shared about Pop Mart’s opening in social media posts showcasing colorful displays of figurines and plush dolls. In addition to Labubu, Pop Mart makes Skullpanda, Crybaby, Molly and other lines of collectibles.

The store is located on the north side of Level 1 of the Mall of America at 119 North Garden in Bloomington.
Pop Mart vending machines at Rosedale Center in Roseville have been wildly popular, drawing long lines of Labubu enthusiasts. A Rosedale manager previously told MPR News a second Pop Mart vending machine was added this spring because of rising demand.
Founded in 2010, Pop Mart has over 350 locations worldwide, according to an August news release from the Mall of America.
A mall spokesperson said more details are to come about the store’s grand opening. The store is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
