Vice President JD Vance will travel to Minneapolis Thursday where he’ll hold a roundtable meeting with local leaders and community members and “deliver remarks focused on restoring law and order in Minnesota,” the White House confirmed Wednesday afternoon.
No other details about the visit were immediately available.
The vice president was previously in Minneapolis in September in the wake of the shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church. He and second lady Usha Vance visited the memorial outside the church, and had private meetings with families affected by the shooting.
