A 37-year-old man was shot and killed by federal immigration officers Saturday in Minneapolis. This is the third shooting by federal immigration agents in just over two weeks.

ICE agent Jonathan Ross shot Renee Macklin Good in her car on the morning of Jan. 7 in south Minneapolis. A week later, on Jan. 14, federal agents shot Julio Sosa-Celis in the leg in north Minneapolis.

A number of locations in the Twin Cities have closed or announced shelter-in-place orders. Some events have been canceled or postponed.

Among the postponements is Saturday’s scheduled Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Golden State Warriors at Target Center.

In a social media post, the team said the decision was made “to prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community.” The game was originally set to be played at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. It’s now scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
