Minneapolis Public Schools will extend its temporary online learning option through April 6 for families who need it.
The school district offered the option to learn from home due to safety concerns related to the federal immigration crackdown. It was set to expire Feb. 12.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and may return to full in-person learning sooner than April 6,” the district said in a statement. “If that occurs, families participating in temporary online learning will receive at least two weeks’ notice.”
