Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert has been suspended one game without pay after receiving his seventh flagrant foul point of the season, the NBA announced Saturday.

Gobert was assessed a flagrant foul with 29.8 seconds remaining in the second quarter of Minnesota’s 122-111 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night at Target Center. He entered the game with six flagrant foul points.

Under the NBA’s regular-season flagrant foul system, players who reach certain point thresholds face automatic suspensions. Gobert’s seventh point triggers a one-game suspension.

Gobert was suspended for one game in January for picking up his sixth flagrant foul.

He will serve the latest suspension when the Timberwolves host the Philadelphia 76ers at Target Center on Sunday.
