From classroom to sugarbush, immersion school connects students to Indigenous language and culture

Students use wooden paddles to process maple syrup at a skigamizigan (sugar bush) camp on Wednesday, March 18 in Maple Plain. The event was part of a cultural immersion program organized by the Bdote Learning Center to teach students traditional Ojibwe and Dakota methods.
