Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock has filed notice that she plans to appeal her federal conviction and lengthy prison sentence.

 to nearly 42 years in prison for orchestrating what investigators say was the nation’s largest COVID-era fraud scheme.

Bock was also ordered to pay $243 million in restitution for leading a conspiracy to steal from taxpayer-funded child nutrition programs in Minnesota.

The notice filed late Tuesday seeks a review of the case by the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. It says Bock is challenging both the constitutionality and application of sentencing guidelines — but does not elaborate further.

had sought a sentence of 50 years in prison

 for Bock, while Bock’s defense attorney Ken Udoibok had argued for a three-year sentence.

Bock is one of more than 65 people linked to Feeding Our Future who have been convicted since late 2022. The cases of a half-dozen defendants are still pending.
