It’s been an exciting mid-season week of accolades for the Minnesota Lynx.
Just a day after being named a starter for the All-Star Game, Olivia Miles was named the Kia WNBA Rookie of the Month for a second consecutive month. She’s only the third rookie in franchise history to earn the honor twice after Crystal Dangerfield and Maya Moore.
Miles was the second overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft. She leads all rookies in scoring with an average of 18.7 points per game and ranks sixth in the league in efficiency and eighth in assists.
In June, Miles set a WNBA career high averages in points with 31, assists with 9 and minutes with 35. Miles helped propel Minnesota to the best record in the WNBA and became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 350 points and 100 assists.

Head coach Cheryl Reeve was also named WNBA Coach of the Month for June less than a week after being inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tenn.
The monthly honor is the fourth in her career, which she won most recently in July 2025. In June, she guided the Lynx to a 9-2 record, including five victories by 15 or more points.
So far this season, Reeve has two players in the top 15 in points per game, two in the top 20 in rebounds per game and assists per game and three in the top 20 in steals per game.
On Sunday, Reeve reached her 379th regular season win, tying former Connecticut Sun and Washington Mystics coach Mike Thibault for the most regular season wins in league history. She could surpass Thibault on Friday with a win over the New York Liberty.
