The Target USA Cup announced a black flag Thursday morning and delayed the start of games due to record poor air quality. 

The youth soccer tournament held at the National Sports Center in Blaine will start games no earlier than 11 a.m. Thursday — but only if air quality improves. 

Air quality has reached hazardous levels for much of eastern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro. 

Activities scheduled for this evening are scheduled to go on as planned.

USA Cup says it will give another update at 9:30 a.m.
