Abdikerm Eidleh, 42, arrived at Minneapolis- St. Paul International airport Thursday afternoon. Eidleh fled to Somalia about two months before the initial search warrants for the Feeding Our Future fraud case were served. He was originally charged in September 2022 for his alleged role in the scheme, which federal officials say stole $250 million from a program to feed children during the pandemic.

As the alleged “second-in-command” to ringleader Aimee Bock, Eidleh is accused of controlling shell companies for Feeding Our Future and creating fraudulent food sites that claimed to provide meals to thousands of children per day. Eidleh is facing 31 federal charges, including wire fraud, money laundering and federal programs bribery.

Eidleh is in custody in Sherburne County Jail and is set to make his first court appearance Friday at 1:30 p.m. before US Magistrate John F. Docherty.
