New Minnesota State Fair specialty sips: Beer, wine, seltzers, spiked soft serve and slushies

Right after a 10-day heat wave for the Twin Cities, the Minnesota State Fair released their new, cool, specialty beverages that will premiere or that can only be found at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.

The list of new brews includes alcoholic soft serve, slushies, seltzers with fruit pairings and classic beers.

Quacker Jack Seltzer at The Hideaway Speakeasy

Sailor rubber duckies served alongside caramel and kettle corn with a touch of sea salt. 5 percent ABV. Brewed in Minneapolis by Sociable Cider Werks.

Cherry Cola Hard Soda at RC's BBQ

Pomelo Pils at Mancini’s al Fresco

Citrus Hibiscus Wine Slushie at Minnesota Wine Country

Rhubarb Mead at LuLu’s Public House

Lingonberry Orange Cider at O’Gara’s at the Fair

This deep magenta drink brings a tangy taste and crisp finish by it’s berry notes in celebration of Minnesota heritage and flavors. 5.4 percent ABV. Brewed in Duluth by Wild State Cider.

Soft Serve Royal Peach Beer at Pryes Brewing Pavilion

Peach flavors come packed in this bright sour now reimagined in soft serve form. Pair it with the famous Royal Raspberry as a twist cone. 4.8 percent ABV. Made in Minneapolis by Pryes Brewing Company.

Watermelon Sea Salt Lager at Dino’s Gyros
