“It’s the 175th anniversary of Eloise Butler’s birth. She was a Minneapolis High School botany teacher who helped found the Wildflower Garden in Wirth Park in 1907. She worked there for 30 years and we now have over 60,000 visitors annually to see the native Minnesota plants in the Garden!!!”
