With weeks before the 2026 Minnesota State Fair starts, one Grandstand concert is already sold out.
No tickets are available for the TLC and Salt-N-Pepa concert with En Vogue. The Sept. 5 show is part of their “IT’S ICONIC” national tour.
The headliners are among the most influential female groups in modern history. TLC defined R&B and pop music in the 1990s with songs like “No Scrubs” and “Waterfalls.” Formed in 1985, Salt-N-Pepa helped pave the way for women in rap and is known for hits like “Shoop” and “Push It.”
However, people seeking tickets can have some hope. There may not be a need to “creep” on the concert from outside the Grandstand or worry “What about your friends?” who failed to snag seats earlier.

“Ticket availability can fluctuate closer to the concert. Sometimes, more tickets become available that were being held for production or something like that,” said Maria Hayden, the Minnesota State Fair marketing and social media supervisor.
Hayden advises people to continue to check the State Fair website for tickets or visit the box office on the day of the show.
Tickets are limited for the “Weird Al” Yankovic concert with Puddles Pity Party on Aug. 28, according to Hayden.
Single seats or obstructed view seating may remain. In the latter instance, people can call the Grandstand to learn how views are limited and purchase tickets.
Shows are scheduled each night at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand spanning gospel, country, blues, rock and pop genres, in addition to the fair’s Amateur Talent Contest finals.
Another legendary R&B group, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, will perform on Aug. 29.
