With the Associated Press showing 100% of precincts reporting, Democrat Leah Hanson defeated Republican state Rep. Erica Schwartz to take back a DFL seat in a heavily-college district. Hanson is preceded by Schwartz and former DFL state Rep. Jeff Brand, who won the seat in 2018 and 2022.
