A new Minneapolis Fed survey shows banks expect farmers to borrow less amid a volatile economy. Loan renewal season is also around the corner, and some bankers worry ag loan quality will decline.

One in 10 Minnesota women of childbearing age live in counties without a birthing center

In 2024 alone, 6,500 women in Minnesota who lived in counties without this care gave birth. They accounted for 11 percent of all births in Minnesota that year.

St. John’s University in central Minnesota sues New York school over ‘Johnnies’ nickname

The lawsuit filed in federal court in Minnesota says the private Catholic university in Collegeville has been calling its students and athletic teams Johnnies since at least 1900.
