Pilot dead in Lake Superior crash was German citizen

The plane took off from Duluth International Airport Saturday morning and went off radar over the lake. The plane's fuselage was located about 140 feet below the lake surface. A commercial dive team was called in to recover the body.

Green Line train, car collide in Minneapolis

The car was travelling south on Portland Ave. S and the northbound test train was headed toward Target Field. The two collided in the intersection of Portland Ave. S. and S. 5th Street.
