The number of COVID-19 deaths is creeping toward 113,000 in the U.S., and a Harvard expert’s prediction shows that number reaching 200,000 by September.

Monday at 9, MPR News host Kerri Miller turned to two infectious disease physicians to break down the latest information about the pandemic and what’s on their radar in terms of disease projections and treatments.


Dr. Manisha Juthani is an infectious disease physician at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Emily Landon is an infectious disease doctor at University of Chicago Medicine.
