Political roundup with Mara Liasson
President Trump is back on the campaign trail, holding rallies in Tulsa, Phoenix and Florida in a span of six days. The crowds were smaller than expected at the Tulsa rally, and the latest polls show the president lagging behind Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. But that doesn’t mean Trump is out of the race.
Wednesday on MPR News with Kerri Miller, we’ll talk politics with NPR’s national political correspondent Mara Liasson.
Will revelations in John Bolton’s book affect Trump’s re-election chances? How does Dr. Anthony Fauci’s latest testimony before Congress play into the presidential race?
Meanwhile, five states are holding primaries on Tuesday. We talked about how the results reflect what’s happening in America at this moment.
