Science and technology writer David Pogue cuts straight to the chase when it comes to climate change.

“The world is getting hotter, natural systems are going haywire, and you should begin to prepare,” he writes in his new book, “How to Prepare for Climate Change: A Practical Guide to Surviving Climate Chaos.” 

Pogue lays out the harsh reality of record heat and droughts and details innovations in agriculture. He also offers practical advice on talking to those who reject climate science and on finding the right insurance policy.
