Jill Riley, morning host at MPR’s sister station, The Current, joined host Cathy Wurzer to talk about what’s been going on in the local music scene.

Riley shared a preview of her upcoming interview with Tears for Fears and the story of Gully Boys, a Minneapolis punk trio, who had their van, “Dad,” stolen with all of their equipment inside.

Plus, the Rolling Stones are coming town! Folks are excited about the show, but more excited about the possibility they might run into Mick Jagger at their corner bar.

For the latest rundown on local and regional music, join Riley on Minnesota Now every Thursday.
