Another week, another flurry of sports headlines with Wally Langfellow and Eric Nelson, the hosts of Minnesota Score’s "10,000 Takes" sports talk show.

First up: Jerry Kill is set to return to the University of Minnesota at next year's opener as the coach of opposing New Mexico State after claiming he would never set foot in the Gopher football stadium again.

Plus: Could Gopher nation book a trip to a sunny location for a bowl game? And on the margins of the playoff race, will the Vikings avoid disaster against winless Detroit after being shaken up by San Francisco?

Rounding things out: The Twins sign Byron Buxton, the Wild are playing great hockey, even the Timberwolves are playing well as of late and the Indigenous Bowl for high school football players of American Indian descent is underway in the metro area.
