Vaccines for kids ages 2 to 5 may be on the way. Here's what we know so far.

Pfizer is submitting data to the FDA on a COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 2 to 5. This is generally the first step in requesting emergency use authorization from the FDA for a new vaccine.

It’s very early stages, but we wanted to give you an idea of what this all means and what families might be able to expect in the next weeks and months of the pandemic. Joe Kurland, specialist in vaccines at Children’s Minnesota, broke down the research and the process for host Cathy Wurzer.
