Eight years ago, Roman Polishchuk was an exchange student at Hastings High School. Currently, he is the head of sales for the American company Join It, living and working in Lviv — a major city on the western side of Ukraine.

Roman Polishchuk joined MPR News host Cathy Wurzer from his home in Lviv, Ukraine. Eight years ago, the Ukrainian man was an exchange student at Hastings High School. For the past two weeks, he has been working to help spread awareness globally on what is going on in his home country -- all in an attempt to combat the misinformation put out by the Russian government on the war taking place around him.
