Faisal Kaleem, professor of computer science and cyber security at Metro State University, joined host Cathy Wurzer to discuss the impact of cyber-attacks and how people can protect themselves and their personal information.
Last month, President Biden issued a statement warning Americans to consider cyber security in light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Kaleem suggests that businesses and individuals learn about cybersecurity risks, offering several online resources intended to raise awareness. “It’s easier to prevent an attack than it is to recover from it,” Kaleem said.
