For many Latinas in the United States, “Real Women Have Curves” is more than a well-known film and play. It’s a love letter that reflects the coming of age experience of many Latinas in the United States. Some of the common themes of the film revolve around body image, community and family dynamics, especially between mothers and daughters. In a new production by Teatro del Pueblo, co-directors Adlyn Carreras and Lelis Brito joined host Cathy Wurzer to talk about their work.
