UAW strikes in the Twin Cities area; early voting in Minnesota

United Auto Workers at two Twin Cities-area facilities walked off the job today as part of the strike against the three big U.S. car makers.

And today kicks off the first day of early voting, which means Minnesotans can cast their ballots for local elections all the way up until election day November 7.
