Crews have begun work to replace the High Falls pedestrian bridge at Tettegouche State Park. That bridge crosses the Baptism River along the North Shore and was damaged during two recent floods. Work on a new span begins a week from Monday. It will be made from reinforced fiberglass polymer and is designed to better withstand future flooding events. Superior Hiking Trail through hikers are being rerouted.
