Temperatures across Minnesota for the first half of July have been above average — with several areas seeing 90-degree days — and averaging about one to two degrees above normal.
Rainfall has been mixed, but a good chuck of the state is drought-free, said meteorologist and climatologist Mark Seeley.
“The second half of July looks like it'll average warmer than normal, and also wetter than normal,” Seeley said.
Minnesotans can expect to see more heat advisories from the National Weather Service in throughout the rest of the month.
