The Minneapolis-St. Paul airport expects to see canceled flights starting Friday after federal officials said they're cutting back air traffic by about 10 percent due to the government shutdown.
Patrick Knight, a businessman and former Marine, has joined the race to be the Republican candidate for Minnesota governor.
