Meet Emily Reese
Emily Reese is the midday newscaster for MPR News.
She has worked in radio since 2005, starting at NET Radio in Lincoln, Nebraska (now Nebraska Public Media). In the Twin Cities, she has worked for MPR News, YourClassical MPR and Jazz88 KBEM-FM.
Emily studied music and music theory in college and graduate school. She loves music and sports, attending many concerts and professional sports activities in the Twin Cities. She has been a podcaster since 2011, covering various topics in music and the video game industry, and enthusiastically studies the Swedish language.
