Federal government seeking to end asylum for Liam Conejo Ramos and family

The federal government has filed a motion seeking to end asylum claims for the family of Liam Conejo Ramos, according to their lawyer.

Minneapolis is allocating $1 million dollars in funding for emergency rental assistance as some families struggle to pay their bills amid the ongoing federal immigration operation.

An ice sculpture commissioned by Minnesota veterans was destroyed by a man pardoned for participating in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

The Minneapolis Police Department confirms they've been dismantling so-called filter blockades that residents have set up in some parts of the city to slow and deter the progress of federal agents. The blockades are essentially pop-up block parties on city streets.

"Macbeth" is now playing at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. The Shakespeare play is about ruthless ambition, corruption and madness. Megan Kreidler plays Lady Macbeth. Macbeth runs through March 22.

The Olympics begin Friday at Milan and Cortina in Italy, which is 7 hours ahead of central time. The opening ceremony airs live at 1 p.m. central time on NBC and Peacock, with a re-air at 7 p.m. Friday’s events include ski jumping, luge, alpine skiing, figure skating, ice hockey and curling.
