Target Field concessions workers union, employer expected to bargain Tuesday

Friday is the start of voting for the primary election. In Minnesota voters can vote absentee up to 46 days before an election. That means marking a ballot at home or at a polling place and then putting it in an envelope to be verified and counted later. The union representing concessions workers at Target Field and their employer, Delaware North, are expected to be back at the bargaining table Tuesday. That's after the workers staged a strike at Monday’s Twins game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency won't require an environmental impact statement for a controversial dairy expansion in Morris. The company Riverview has proposed expanding its dairy facility in Morris from about 8,000 to nearly 19,000 cows. If completed, it would be the state's largest dairy operation.

The trail for pedestrians and cyclists across the St. Croix River near Hudson is now closed for more than two months.
